Victory Over Death

Last week we discussed how the Jordan River, which represents death, overflowed all of its banks all the days of the harvest. This was a prophetic sign that during the harvest (the end of the age), we can expect death to be overflowing all of its banks. However, when the Ark and the people of Israel entered into the Jordan, it says that its waters were rolled back all the way to Adam.

Todd Bentley Begins Restoration Process

Todd Bentley was used to spark the Lakeland Outpouring, which raised the faith level of much of the body of Christ. Testimonies of healings and miracles from it are now virtually all over the world. When Todd’s marriage failed, he abruptly stopped all ministry and virtually disappeared for almost nine months. MorningStar intends to use this property as the primary base for its Charlotte area congregation, the Comenius School for Creative Leadership (our Christian day school), our School of Ministry, and as a conference center.

This week we will continue to cover the remnant principle and how it applies to today. I will use a bit of our American history for this, but regardless of what country you are from, many of these same principles will apply.

The conclusion of the remnant principle is very encouraging, if we see it through the eyes of faith. A little history can help us better understand where we are and what can determine our future.

Prepared for the Times, Part 47

Many of you have written and asked me to spend more time addressing current events. Others have written and said that I shouldn’t spend any time on current events and just stick to spiritual matters. I appreciate the position of each. Compared to knowing God and His kingdom, even the most interesting issues of this world are boring. However, much of our calling to be the salt and light in the times requires that we understand current events, and it seems that there are far more crying out for this.
