Lindell shares how his heart opened to God for worship and how the presence of the Lord came to him, commissioning him to lead people in worship.

We come to church to receive from God there. Ministering to the Lord is what we should be doing. When the glory of the Lord comes, everything we desire comes, too. Isaiah 66:1 speaks of the spirit of God looking in our direction because worship is not about us, but about ministering to Him.

Lindell Cooley talks about people in The Bible who are seemingly more significant because their name is attached to God or Jesus.  Worship should take you to places you’ve never been, not to places you go all the time.  Strive for the secret place—that is where the new sound is found.

Jesus calls us to a world that needs our help and justice as the Philippians did in Paul’s day. The answer to their problems is in the cross and the gospel. God is asking us to respond to their eternal needs.
