We're in Hot Water

Last week we discussed how the evil kingdoms are built on unrighteousness and injustice, but in the beginning they may appear even more righteous and just than God’s kingdom. Without question, God’s standards of righteousness and justice are pure, true, and right. They extend to the heavens and to eternity. They are the very definition and standard of these, and always will be. Even so, the devil usually sets the stage for his unrighteousness and injustice by at first seeming to be even more righteous and just than God.

All Things in Him- The Book of Revelation

The Book of Revelation was not meant to be a mystery, but to be understood. Its name means “what is revealed,” not “what was hidden.” However, there are some basic keys to understanding it. These are the same keys to understanding all revelation in the Bible. We will begin our study of this book with the first of these keys—the first statement made in Revelation:

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ.…”

Day 49 - The Covenant

…and the LORD said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

Becoming Like Him - The Great Commission, Part 28

The only way to have a Christian worldview is to abide in Christ so that we see with His eyes, hear with His ears, and understand with His heart. As we are told in Ephesians 4:15: but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ.” This is the daily resolve of a true disciple—to learn of their Master, becoming like Him and doing the works He did.

Update on Paul Cain, Part 4

One of the most frequently asked questions I receive is whether I think Paul Cain’s public confession was real or not. It is understandable that many would question whether Paul’s repentance was genuine because of his previous denials. First, I personally question whether anyone has ever repented perfectly. I think there is only One that we can expect perfection from. I personally feel that Paul’s repentance was as genuine as he could make it at the time.

America Under Attack, Part 1

Many have inquired of us regarding what the Lord has said or is saying about this most tragic day in United States history. I will address the relevant words in a very general way now, and in more detail as events unfold. First, I would like to say that we, as Christians, are citizens of a kingdom that cannot be shaken. In the midst of everything like this that happens, we must first focus on the Lord and His unshakable throne in heavenly places.

Taking the Land, Part 64

If we are going to be the best stewards that we can be to the Lord, another principle that we need to understand is the importance of our training, and how He trains us to be able to handle more authority and resources. Our training is the investment that God is making in us, and we want Him to get the maximum return for this investment. Remarkably, He lets us determine what kind of return He will get from us by our faith and obedience.
