Bob Jones: Lust, doubt, and spiritual error come from not being rooted and grounded in love.
Bob Jones:Those who remove the landmarks are the ones who devour the flocks...This is promoting a freedom that really is lawlessness, or a false freedom. To this we could add that the beginning of pride usually comes when we try to start taking credit for the things that God has done. (Bob was given Job 24:2; Proverbs 22:28).
Rick Joyner added:Job 24:1 asks an important question "Why do those who know the Lord not know His times?" This question is answered in verse 2, because when you remove the landmarks, or boundaries, you will not know the timing of the Lord. Landmarks identify the domains that were established before us. It is required that we honor these boundaries as it is a way that we honor our fathers and mothers. In this way, we could say that we will not be trusted with knowledge of the future unless we demonstrate the humility of honoring the great souls and works of the past.
Geri Keller:The Moravians made models of communication, gardening, community, and evangelism...Moravian Falls is to be like a garden that is a model for people to see God's vision for the restoration of this world. This is like Nehemiah. Many different families are building a part of the wall.
Steve Thompson added:Nehemiah was the governor who had a higher vision, and pulled everyone else together to unify their visions. There were subgroups that were pulling key people out of their place of alignment. In the same way today, many secondary relationships are trying to take a primary relationship place, and it is pulling the spine of the body out of alignment.
Bob Jones added:Some who are doing this are doing it out of ambition, and this is causing confusion. Where there is selfish ambition, there is disorder and every evil thing. Those who are doing this are twisted from former ministry, or former church relationships. They have come with ambition to create a place for themselves which is done in fear, rather than faith, and a devotion for seeing the Lord's glory, which all true vision is founded on.
Bob Jones:We must not run after the spectacular (Luke 11:28-29). He was in a meeting with a large crowd, who almost all left to run after something spectacular that was happening in another room. After they left, Bob found a North Carolina license plate that was from 1967 (which he felt represented Psalm 67). He said that the plate was as good now as it was then. This was the year that the Lord removed the glory. It was removed because the people ran off to look at the spectacular and left what the Lord was doing. There is something that is about to come forth in the United States that is spectacular, but is also bad.
Several in the group have all been shown over the last year that a "spiritual Titanic" is about to sail. When Bob began talking about this spectacular event that people would run after, we all had the impression that it was this "spiritual Titanic." Because ships are often metaphors for leadership, we believe that this "spiritual Titanic" will be a form of leadership that is built on pride. But it will be so big that most will feel that it could never sink. It will, and it will take many down with it.
Related to this, on March 11, 1977, the Lord gave Bob a word that He would bring the glory again in the latter days, but first He was going to give the sign of Jonah. This sign was to cause His people to repent of going their own ways. We would know this as a spontaneous movement which would call for people to fast and pray, humbling themselves before the Lord. Many will be called to do this for three days to parallel the time that Jonah spent in the fish. If we will judge ourselves and humble ourselves in this way, we will not have to suffer the judgment of the sign of
Jonah. (For years many of us have heard from the Lord that a great revival of repentance was going to proceed the movement that restores the glory of the Lord to the church.)
Bob Jones:(Joshua 1:3-9) Prudence is success. Prudence is to understand God's ways. God's ways are the five fold ministry. The prudent man ignores insults. A prudent man acquires knowledge, and is always gathering knowledge. The prudent man does not reveal his knowledge in the presence of fools (Proverbs 23:9).
Bob Jones: I was told to watch the Interstate 55 corridor that runs through the heart of the country for signs of what He is doing. What He wants to do is found in Isaiah 55.
In a prophetic experience Bob was given cobbler tools and told to put "souls" on our feet. He was also told that we are in a very serious time. We are getting people ready to cross over. We must watch out for elitism, and the disgruntled people who will be attacking us because they are still bitter about the past. We must get people ready; this means helping them to understand their purpose, but this cannot be done in pride. We must also watch for those who seek to build relationships on flattery. We must go to Gilgal to roll away the shame of the past. One of the ways we can know that one has been circumcised is that they will be sensitive (Colossians 2:11). We must also watch out for: 1) false unity based on compromise, 2) our families, and 3) getting too busy. We must understand that the pressure cooker is to tenderize the old birds, the old eagles. If we would just get tender, He would turn the pressure down.
We must also keep in mind that Satan is known for two basic things, magic and music. These are the two places where he is pouring out his power. He is going to try to bring this into the church on a new level. He will be trying to sidetrack Christian music to substitute entertainment for worship. The enemy is going to be doing this through musicians who are not free of lust and homosexuality. These have doors open in their lives that the enemy can use. What is coming will be a separation of the flesh from the reality. The true worship and praise that the Lord is bringing forth will be everlasting. It will have an eternal quality about it. That which the devil is bringing forth will not last long.
As the devil only counterfeits what the Lord is doing, the Lord will not only match what the devil is doing, but double it by releasing twice the anointing on that which is real.
A spirit of infirmity is also being released against us. There is immunity that comes from nursing. We must return to the sincere milk of the Word. The church, "Jerusalem above," is our mother (Galatians 4:26). The church needs to learn to nurse again rather than using man made "formulas."
