From Inadequacy to Dependence- The Greatest Christian Life, Part 27

When the Lord called me to take on some very difficult restoration projects, it was the best of times and the worst of times. He gave me jobs no one else wanted. They were hard on me and harder on my reputation, and sometimes cost me good friends. But through them I got to know the heart of the Lord better than I ever had through study. The harder the job, the more deeply I grew to know Him and the more fulfilling it was, and I think, the more fruit that came.

Purpose and Calling - The Great Commission, Part 39

We have been discussing how The Great Commission is to make disciples, not just converts. Disciples live to learn from their Master, Jesus, and to become like Him. To do this, they daily sit at His feet and then seek to abide in Him all day. These find their place in His body, because we cannot be rightly joined to the Head without also being rightly joined to His body, the church. Discerning the Times, Part 8

The last two weeks we began addressing two of the three major fronts that the church must confront in the great issues of our times. The third is revolutionary and will begin a revolution. However, this revolution is not a rebellion against our earthly governments or any other earthly authority, but against “the prince of this world,” the devil. We must always keep in mind Ephesians 6:12:

Taking the Land, Part 8

Before the New Year’s message and in the last part of our study, we examined the ban that Achan violated which led to his and his family’s destruction. This may have seemed harsh, but it was intended to deal with the greed within the people that could have nullified the entire purpose of the nation and ultimately even destroyed them.
