God has used him as a tool to spread revival fire around the country and bring new hope and life to Pastors. Pastors have always held a special place in his heart. He has been burdened for the difficulties that they endure and encounter in the ministry. |
On Monday, September 27, 2004, MorningStar Fellowship Church completed the purchase of the former Heritage USA Grand Hotel and Conference Center, along with fifty-two acres of the surrounding property. MorningStar intends to use this property as the primary base for its Charlotte area congregation, its Christian day school, School of Ministry, as well as a conference center.
With the present economic and political shaking going on in the world, it seems that prophetic ministry is taking on a much greater importance. There is an increasing desperation to hear from the Lord and to discern what He is doing in the earth, as well as what we can expect to happen in the nations. Where is this trend itself going?
We had high expectations for this year's conferences, and they were exceeded. We believe that it was the great spiritual hunger of the people that attracted the Lord in the way that He came. To enable twice as many people to attend this year, we held two back to back conferences at the Main Assembly Hall at New Heritage USA. Even so, we still ran out of room during some of the evening meetings.
Norway has strong bones, sits in a place of vision and prophecy, and has an important part to play in the unfolding purposes of the Lord in both Europe and the Middle East. It is time to expose and reject the New Age influences that have exalted themselves in Norway. As this happens the Lord will give Norway a sign—the weather over Scandinavia will change so that the sunshine will increase and the overcast will decrease.
This July we did a two-week pilot program for our Special Forces Missions program and it went extremely well. The tests this group went through were extraordinary, some of which were like you would go through in real Special Forces training. However, those participating refused to be broken or give up, and they all made it through, worshiping and thanking God all of the way.
Late this summer the MorningStar School of Ministry (MSM) will run a pilot program that will ultimately develop into our MSM Special Forces Missions. This will be two weeks of intense training that includes twelve hours a day of mental, physical, and spiritual training that is meant to find each student’s limits and stretch them. Part of the program will be an actual survival course in the wilderness of North Carolina.
