We had a full and exciting week at Heritage International Ministries! It began with a special outdoor event with Todd Bentley, "Healing and Impartation: 08-08-08", which was a powerful time of prophetic preaching, healing, and miracles. And, as Steve Thompson says, we are also opening up and releasing the living waters from within, just like the story of Noah - the rain and waters being released both from heaven AND from the earth. Deliverance, impartation, refreshing, and significant healings marked the week, including a gentleman who got up out of a wheelchair and walked with minimal support for the first time since his surgery!

Week 12 of our Holy Spirit Breakout here at Heritage began with "The Furnace" Worship Conference, an intensive time of impartation and training in leading worship and living a lifestyle of praise before God in our every day lives. With more healings and fresh touches of the Spirit of God manifesting in our midst, Steve Thompson exhorts us to continue to be a witness of the Kingdom of God on earth, saying, "The power that comes upon us is not just to witness with our mouths but to witness with our lives and to witness with His power that He is alive!"

After a full week of the Lord's outpouring, the Holy Spirit has created a river in the dry places. Beginning May 2007 the mid-Atlantic moved into a severe drought. The church responded by petitioning God to open the heavens and release the rain. May 2008, a year later, the rains have returned in the natural and the spirit. The Lord visited us here at Heritage International Ministries on Wednesday, April 23rd, during a Bible Class in our CSCL day school, which then blew up into a 12-hour Holy Spirit break out! Kids, teachers, staff, parents, and students all were impacted by the presence of God in various ways - healing, deliverance, joy, mind and heart-change...it was powerful and it has continued!
